NurseFor students interested in health care profession a recent study reported that health-related associate programs in the US are now gaining grounds as professionals are now receiving good salaries according to a research made by the Hudson Institute conducted in January. The said research was funded by the famous Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

The survey said associate degrees in health-related fields have shown significant gains in November. It also reported that these health-related degrees have most job openings as compared to other professions. In fact, it is now predicted to become a good venue for higher earnings. These findings also demonstrated the significant contributions of community colleges. They are now seen to be expanding in their business because of the cost effectiveness health-related careers have shown.

Of the 145,000 students examined in Florida during the conduct of the study, it showed that enrolling in medical imaging, nursing and physical therapy can give students an a very amazing return of investment. When they graduate from a two-year health-related profession they were able to work in companies that give salaries of median incomes like $46,000. This means the income is really big for health-related professions.

The study, which was conducted by Louis Jacobson and Christine Mokher was very interesting because it is showing good confidence from students that only able to afford a two-year associate degree course because of problems with money.

This study also clearly demonstrates that even the nursing career opportunities for a two-year program is very viable for receiving good salaries once graduates start working in companies that need their expertise.

In fact, other surveys conducted in the US territories also showed shortages in the nursing profession. This is also the main reason why many states in America are now considering of massive campaign for US citizens to consider enrolling in nursing profession so that in the future they can solve the shortage to a very manageable level.
