Avalon English Plus, one of the largest education companies in South Korea, recently made an initial investment of P100 million to establish its local subsidiary in the Philippines, English Ubiquitous Network of Avalon International Inc. (U-ENAI), a company online education teaching English using technology.

Is expected to exceed their initial investment when completed in late 2010 the International Baccalaureate in the country with an estimated capital of 3.5 million U.S. dollars, or about P170 billion. The company was also duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission in 2008 and is owned by Avalon English Plus, an institution of teaching English in South Korea.

Currently serving more than 50,000 students, mostly based in South Korea, while others are in other parts of Asia. Potential market estimated to be at least 1 million students around the world.
