If you are considering signing up for an online degree program there are some things to consider if you want to get a degree online so you do not get caught in one of the scams or diploma mills instead of one of the legitimate online degree programs if you want a bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate, associate or bachelor’s degree in business, nursing, psychology or education or any other grade.

Firstly what is a degree mill? A fake degree mill is a college or university to the sale of university degrees. Actually it’s just selling a piece of paper, not a document that verifies your educational experience an accredited institution.

Obtain a university degree or college is one of the most expensive items people acquire in their lifetime. Many jobs or careers require a college degree. Because of this demand is high for college degrees and there are companies doing big business selling these securities, especially on the Internet.

How can we know whether school or university online is fake, a fraud or false?

First make sure the college or online university is accredited. This is one of the easiest things to check. If the accredited college or university is that it is still necessary to check and make sure that is accredited by an agency recognized by CHEA (Council for Accreditation of Higher Education.)

You’ll find that most of the online diploma mills are accredited. The chilling fact is that when you check the accreditation seemed legitimate enough. It appears they are accredited. However, the surprising fact is that they have created these fake agencies. The names of the agencies may sound like they are legitimate, and most people assume that accreditation means exactly that. Not so.

The first thing to do is to contact the CHEA and find out if the accrediting agency accreditation is contained in its list of universities and accrediting bodies of the university, both on campus and online. You also need to do for any online degree program or online degree you are thinking.

If the criteria for admission is based solely on owning a credit card or of previous academic records transcripts or GPA and test scores are not necessary for the online degree to be suspicious.

If you only need one sheet of fax and acceptance is based on a review of it, be suspicious.
Many universities offer credit for professional experience, but the evaluation of professional experience for college credit is not a simple issue.
There is an online university degree program or university distance learning in the U.S. which grants a master’s degree or doctorate online that is based solely on a review of professional experience. However, there are some programs that will. They typically limit credit for experience to a maximum of ten courses or about 30 semester credits, which amounts to about one year of a degree of four years.

If you’re guaranteed a diploma within 30 days of implementing a care scam. Since degree mills are only in business to sell a piece of paper that can make all the guarantees and promises they want.

Be careful if you are charged a fixed amount, like $ 2500 for a degree or perhaps $ 3500 for a postgraduate qualification. The universities do not charge flat fees for degrees. Colleges and universities charge per credit or course and a variety of enrollment.

Check online with the Better Business Bureau. See if they have any online complaint on file in the factories or online degree program or degree courses, and in particular anyone who has in mind.

If you’re told by the factory representative universities in the title line that can not be accredited by CHEA recognized agencies, this is not true. Many universities have accredited degree programs online.

Find out if the online degree program has a list of teachers who have attended schools other than those listed in fake bodies.

Beware if the online degrees are offered in another country, but only to U.S. residents.

Armed with this knowledge must be able to determine if the school or online degree distance learning program is a diploma mill, scam or not. Be careful. Many do a lot of advertising and sound and look credible. Find out the name of the accreditation agency is and check out. Taking the time to do this can save you much money, time and energy later.

TypingThe United States Department of Education has recently conducted a survey about various aspects of virtual education and found the line to keep the increase in membership. Based on the findings that he joined the IES National Center for Education Statistics, there are 12.2 million students who enroll now to virtual education. The number of online participants are expected to increase to approximately 18-19% of which will probably reach about 18 million pupils in 2012 to 2013. The upward trend is a direct reaction to the recent increase in costs of living, transportation, restrictions on hours and travel that are imposed on most students who work in the United States due to the contraction international credit and several students who recently faced difficulties obtaining permission to study for a traditional school education to a learning-based U.S. institutes, colleges and universities.

The options that are available for distance education are also growing each quarter as we reported the majority of institutions carrying out serious efforts to offer most of its distance education programs in line of this post and the pupils have some advantage for increasing the market for remote learning. The labor market has recently suffered at the hands of the recent recession, while many employees are losing their jobs, there are still several people who are looking to improve or develop their professional backgrounds, having a long line or to distance course that will be most valuable and best paid through their organizations. Besides this, it is reported that several non-traditional online courses are appearing every day, giving people the opportunity to take courses or career programs that are available in schools in the campus setting. The proliferation of distance learning is already set to continue in a possible future with more traditional school courses and major elements of virtual education in its academic curriculum.

A few years ago, most of these students register online for the campus-based education in schools mistrust or do not know enough on many virtual learning and the accreditation was not a problem. Today, virtual education is becoming accepted as a standard part of the learning of traditional education.
